Role Overview
The Internal Business Development Executive is responsible for generating vendors, clients, and live positions for bench candidates, driving placements through direct BD efforts.
This is a target-driven role with hard placement accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Generate 15–20 new vendor/client contacts per month
Create 10+ new job positions per month for bench candidates through BD efforts
Maintain 100% accurate records of all communications, contracts, and open positions
Share weekly BD activity status reports with management
Conduct minimum 15 follow-up calls/emails per week with vendors and clients
Maintain average response time under 24 hours for all vendor/client communications
Achieve minimum 5 placements per month via internal BD (hard target)
Maintain >70% interview-to-offer conversion ratio for BD-submitted candidates
Ensure minimum 80% client satisfaction rate based on communication and service feedback
Develop 2–3 long-term vendor partnerships per quarter
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in IT staffing, recruitment BD, or vendor management
Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills
Ability to convert relationships into live positions and placements
Comfortable working with strict monthly targets and reporting
Performance Measurement
This role is measured on placements, conversions, vendor growth, and client satisfaction metrics.
